Here is how to submit a “post” (an article or photography project) using the form below:

  1. Your Email – include your email address in this box.
  2. Post Title – this is your Article headline: Something catchy, the shorter the better
  3. Post Tags – Tags provide a useful way to group related posts together and to quickly tell readers what a post is about. Tags also make it easier for people to find your content.  The use of tags is completely optional. Separate tags with commas 
  4. Answer the anti-spam question. 
  5. Post Category: Select the category that best describes your article. 
  6. Post Content: Copy and paste your text below in this format and order:
    • Author name: First, Last- (title optional)
    • Article subheading (optional): If you have a sub-heading include it
    • Excerpt (optional): Excerpts are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content that will show up with the image on the front page.
    • Article text: single spaced, no indent, hard return between paragraphs.
    • Word count: Full count of article text, minus headline, title and details
    • Suggested pull quote (optional): Quotes of interest
    • Author bio (optional but preferred): Include a small paragraph, 20-40 words or so, summarizing who you are
    • Relevant links or more information to include (optional): Include pertinent information such as websites, contacts, phone numbers, etc.
    • Sidebars (optional): Small sub-stories related to the main article
  7.  Upload an Image: 
    • Optional headshot to be included with article if you haven’t turned one in previously.
    • If you include images: Please be certain that you have permission of the owner of the images first. Attach the images as jpegs/png. (Maximum pixel size is 2000 x 2000)
    • You may upload up to 6 total images. (Please note: Some images might not be published in the printed version pending room)
